Part of our brand new “Office Hour” series, this program will focus on a particular research challenge that you, the viewer, are struggling with. For this session, we will focus on California legislative history research and resources that are available to you online. Want a say in what we cover? Garrett Shields is the senior librarian for the Witkin State Law Library with over eight years of experience, specializing in California legislative and regulatory research. Prior to working as a law librarian, he worked as a public reference librarian and in the Government Publications Section of the California State Library. He enjoys assisting library patrons looking for a needle in a legal haystack and helping them navigate the varied and voluminous publications relating to California’s legal history.
